The hotel is lovely, an oasis in a truly unpleasant neighborhood. It is very pretty, staff are excellent, room was clean-a but small for American standards. The hotel has more than fulfilled my expectations. Great location, clean and comfortable room, more than acceptable price. I strongly recommend it. Receptionist Mr. Azidin, whom I turned to several times for advice and help, was extremely kind and helped me without question. Renowned for its stunning architecture and the world’s largest fair, Oktoberfest, Munich needs little introduction. Its vibrant cultural scene, great shopping and fantastic museums speak for themselves.
Munich has something for everyone: from historic palaces and castles, to stunning royal avenues to world class galleries and museums. Don't miss the new city hall, or Glockenspiel, in the heart of Marienplatz or the former residence of the Bavarian kings, the Residenz. Munich is also home to the world’s most famous beer hall, the Hofbräuhaus.
For great shopping, Karlsplatz is a pedestrian zone which takes up much of the city centre and the upscale area around Maximilianstrasse is yet another commercial wonderland. Munich is famous for its food too, so make sure you try the local Weißwurst, Leberkässemmeln and other popular pork dishes.
Thanks to efficient S-Bahn train, getting to the city center from Germany’s second busiest airport, Munich International Airport is quick and easy. Whether you’re looking for luxury hotels, youth hostels or comfortable apartments, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for your Munich visit.

Munich is pretty overrated, in my opinion, but I was only there for a day this time, and that was perfect. Bavarians tend to be quite high and mighty about being Bavarian and it's exhausting. Munich is just another city with nothing really spectacular about it.

It was quite crowded in early May.
It was quite crowded in early May. We did a walking tour with Radius. Our guide Patrick was excellent but he had a larger group than we’d been promised, and it was hard to hear at times. We loved visiting the Market and having lunch in the biergarten there. We also enjoyed the the 1€ entry to the art museums on Sunday.

Very clean city, full of parks and gardens.
Very clean city, full of parks and gardens. Many young and active people. A lot of things to go and see. All around you can go on a bicycle. The public transport is organized perfectly. The only minus is the food - it's awful - only meet and potatoes!

Munich is beautiful.
Munich is beautiful. There is so much to explore - I wish we had stayed longer. The Marienplatz is spectacular as too are the churches. The markets are magnificent - I’ve never seen so many beautifully displayed food stalls.

The city is well worth the visit.
Although it suffered during the WWII, there are still many historical building and churches preserved.
One can also take interesting one day trips from Munich.
I went to view the castel Neuschwanstein and took an excursion to the former concentration camp Dachau.
The art gallery has a precious collection of fine art from Middle Ages to present time.

The people were nice and respectful mostly, the MarienPlatz a beautiful place to take pics from every angle of the square, the Neuschwanstein castle a couple hours from the city was one of the you must visit, the English garden .
It is a very comfortable apartment, spacious enough to have a place to relax. It’s not a hotel, so don’t expect the regular facilities hotels offer but it’s a conviniente automated check in (you get all the information on the day of your arrival explaining how to get in). It’s very modern and clean. Even though the location isn’t exactly the best, I’d still recommend this apartment for a comfortable stay in Munich. Also, once connected wifi was great (it picked up the signal easily once I was close to the building).
Location was excellent 50m from U Bahn station. Rooms small but modern, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was GREAT!!! The best you will get in Germany. Easy to get to from the airport. They need to modify instructions from airport. At Moosach stop you must go all the way to the north end of glees and down elevator to get to U3 coming from the airport on S1. If you don’t you end up in town with no directions. However FROM the hotel to downtown Munich it is super easy. Staff was great, very helpful.
The hotel is absolutely wonderful - very clean, modern, and offering all the necessary facilities for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was delicious! The location is also a huge bonus, as one can easily go for a jog in the nearby Olympiapark or take a stroll till the Nymphenburg Palace. And it also takes only 15 mins to reach the Central Station and city center. I will definitely stay again in this hotel when I'm in Munich. Highly recommended!
Everything was excellent. Great hotel, staff is so much friendly and helpful! Very comfortable rooms, even all small details are considered for the full comfort of guests. Breakfast is excellent, location is perfect and very close to the city center and main train station. Special thanks to Maria from reception, she was very helpful during our whole stay and helped us a lot to choose the best restaurants of town. Thank you, Arthotel Munich!
I love creative and carefree vibe of the Glockenbachviertel in Isarvorstad and I love this small boutique style hotel that just a perfect fit for the neighborhood. We had dog with us and it was absolutely hassle free. Rooms are beautiful, bar is the must. And yeah.. best ever pretzels for breakfast. Don’t miss it. Host/bartender is an awesome guy. Overall we had very pleasing experience and well spent night in Munich. Many thnks.
Nice hotel for a few nights. Free parking in front of the hotel (if you have luck - and we did have it ;). Close to public transport and great connections to city centre. Aldi and some bakery shops near by.
Very nice staff, helped us with getting to city centre.
Very comfortable beds.
Near by (few minutes by car, 25 minutes by foot) is Motorworld Munich - if you like really good cars it's a must - real feast for the eyes.
The only pleasant experience of our 4 night stay was a staff member my the name of Natalia who was always smiling and even took the time to remember my son’s name. Overall though the hotel was very disappointing. We unknowingly came during the opening weekend of Oktoberfest and spent $325 per night for a hotel that is worth $75, at best. The location is so far from Old Town Munich yet they still charge $19 per day for parking!
The hotel is 2 minutes from the U3 and U6 at Goetheplatz, which is 2 stops from the city centre at Marienplatz.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and the amenities covered all essentials without me thinking I was wasting money on needless luxury. The breakfast was excellent. The staff looked after my case for a few hours after I had checked out.
Our stay at Classik Hotel Martinshof was good; the rooms were decorated in a classic Bavarian style which was cozy. The beds were comfortable for two people. Check-in and out was smooth; no issues and the front desk staff was very nice. It was only about a ten minute walk to the Riem train station which is really well connected to both Munich city center and Dachau.
The hotel was easy to reach both from the airport and city centre. Our room was quite big even with the third bed for our kid. The fold out bed was also quite good to sleep on. Bakeries, restaurants and grocery stores were nearby as well. We enjoyed the hotel as a good base to explore the city. The balcony on the fourth floor was very basic but a nice extra.
Modern, confortable hotel close to the city centre and next to a transport hub, although probably not the best neighbourhood of Munich. Parking is in the nearby car parking (15 EUR per day). Room is large and very well equipped. Covid measures are rigorously observed (e.g. disposable plastic gloves at the buffet breakfast)
Central location as we had a 5 am flight from Munich airport, the hotel was right at the S bahn to the airport
It was convenient for one night between flights, the reception was very helpful and nice
The triple room had one double bed and one single bed, separated by a door which was convenient for our family of 3
This hotel is well situated, near the main station and within walking distance or a quick ride on public transport from the city centre. The area is full of Turkish restaurants and supermarkets. The hotel itself was calm and comfortable and completely without drama. An uncomplicated place to stay and explore Munich.
We visited Munich to see Octoberfest. The staff were friendly and easy to find from the Munich main train station. We used S1 and S8 from Munich airport to the main train station. The room was spacious and the hotel had a great breakfast. And, there are many supermarkets underground.
Excellent stay at the hotel, would highly recommend the staff extremely helpful, nice walk into the city centre but the underground at the doorstep. will be going back shortly. i stay at this hotel every time i visit munich, absolutely wonderful!!!
Very nice hotel near Munich train station, very nice breakfast (wish I had had more time to enjoy it), room was quiet and comfortable despite being in the city centre. I had a very good night's sleep in advance of my early train the next morning.
Location was great, easy to get into the main city centre of Munich. Metro trains very easy to use. Room was very good value for money, balcony view was great. Hotel staff very proffesional. Breakfast, pool and gym fantastic.
Friendly and helpful staff. The room was a good size and very clean. The hotel is also right next to the train station which makes it easy to get into Munich city centre. We had a great stay.
the location is very close to Munich Station, not far from the city center and easy to find places around the hotel. the room is clean bed and blankets are very comfy. staffs are very helpful
Very nice hotel just outside of Munich city center. Excellent breakfast buffet and the rooms had great A/C. About a 15 min walk to city center and tons of food around the immediate area.
