Good city with plenty to do even if its very touristy.

Good city with plenty to do even if its very touristy. Getting around can be very tricky but with free street maps and google and little shoe leather, very friendly, helpful locals helps the day flow. More expensive that other Dutch cities but well worth the visit for the the history, architecture and museums and if you want to get away from the cultural side pop along to the Heineken Experience have a couple of beers and chill

Hotel was easy walking distance from museums, canal rides, Albert Culp market, flower market and most attractions. Wonderful place to visit. Restaurants and cafes everywhere. Transportation options are excellent. Once you get adjusted to the thousands of bicycles everywhere and the hazards of the bike lanes it is easy to get around. dirty city, rude and insolent people, lots of marijuana-...

dirty city, rude and insolent people, lots of marijuana-tanned and drunk youth, a lot of garbage on the streets and a lot of homeless people collecting cans and plastic bottles, lots of old buildings perfect for sightseeing but only for retirees and the elderly, there is nothing interesting in Amsterdam, the central station and Schiphol airport are also terribly dirty and littered! I do not recommend traveling to Amsterdam, it is better to go to The Hague by the sea, where it is very clean, there is a beautiful central station, the sea, new buildings and nice people!

Close to the city center but very quiet and safe area. Many nice restaurants in walking distance, including Box Sociall, Olijfje, Ku Kitchen, etc. Just located on the canal. You can walk along the canal to the center. Just next to Amsterdam Law/Business School. Spacious with nice interior design. Very kind reception desk for 24 hours/basic housing supply/garbage cleaning + spacious bedroom/living room/kitchen, offering good points from hotel and airbnb combined. Security with contactless card entry at the gate and room.

Very friendly staff. And a welcoming multilingual cook for breakfast. The location is great: at a 10-minute walk from the main museums, in a nice area of canals (the way to go to the city center is beautiful). Comfortable room and bathroom with bubble bath. I also liked the afternoon happy hours with free access to quality tea, coffee and fresh beverage. Also easy to reach, even if coming to Amsterdam by car (park at P+R Bijlmeer Arena for cheap tariff, take metro M54 to Weesperplein, walk 10 minutes to the hotel).

Location is perfect, in the canal district, everything within walkable distance and so many boutique shops nearby. Hotel lounge/bar is very beautiful and so are the rooms. There is also a super cute cat in the hotel lobby to greet guests! I guess she’s the manager? I rubbed her belly everyday. :) I have stayed at quite a few hotels in Amsterdam over the years, from $300/night to $1500/night places. This is arguably THE best hotel for VALUE.

I recommend this hotel if you would like to stay in a nice, clean, modern hotel in a quiet part of the city, and if you don't mind taking the tram or metro into the city centre. Modern hotel outside the city centre. Amsterdam is expensive and I decided to stay here because the hotel looked nice and was the same price as not very nice hotels closer to the centre. I liked this spacious hotel but it is a little far from the central city. The hotel is out of the way. I walked around at night and even though it is very isolated, the area felt safe as a male to walk around after dark.

Excellent hotel. The facilities are amazing and the hotel architecture is outstanding. The hotel bar also has excellent options. The hotel is a little bit far away from the city center (which is good if you don't like the craziness from red light district). Still it is very easy and fast to get there by Metro (150mt walk to the station and a just 4 stations from Amsterdam Central station).

Comfortable, clean bedrooms and a decent breakfast. The daily room service did an excellent job. It was like having a new room every time. The staff were all really friendly. It’s a simple hotel, but a good one at that. It was ok value for money for Amsterdam. The location is not central, but there are two tram lines, the 12 and the 4 which take you straight to the city centre.
