Ada Pasternak was born in Moscow, Russia, and immigrated to the United States at the age of six. As a scholarship student at the Manhattan School of Music, Ada was classically trained on the Violin. She continued on with her career, winning numerous competitions and awards. Ada always had an interest in improvising and playing other styles of music besides Classical. In 2007, Ada was awarded the Presidential Scholarship to Berklee College of Music. It was the environment at Berklee that inspired her to start singing and writing music. Pasternak plays the violin not only as a melodic instrument but also as a chordal instrument, accompanying herself while singing. Ada has recorded and performed with artists such as Wyclef Jean, Mark OConnor and Ron Carter. Ada is a recent graduate of Berklee and is in the process of recording an album
