Ruby Gill (born in Johannesburg) is a South Africa-born singer-songwriter currently based in Melbourne, Australia. She was awarded The Sunday Times "Breaking Act" (UK) and the "Emerging Artist of the Year" at Port Fairy Folk Festival and has received nominations for The Australian Music Prize (Mercury equivalent) and Best Folk Work at the Music Victoria Awards. Her debut LP ‘I’m gonna die with this frown on my face’ was released in 2022.
