Slayyyter (born Catherine Grace Garner on September 17, 1996, in Kirkwood, Missouri) is an American singer and songwriter known for her blend of pop, hyperpop, and Y2K-inspired aesthetics. She studied for one year at the University of Missouri before dropping out to pursue music full-time, a decision she later described as an “expensive experiment” that left her with student debt. On August 1, 2025, she signed with Columbia Records and released Beat Up Chanel$, the lead single from her upcoming third studio album, which she has stated is in its final stages of production.
