Sloppy Seconds biography

There are two bands using the name Sloppy Seconds. 2. Sloppy Seconds are a pair of non-dimensional time rabbits who strive to disolve notions of time and space through a 'sonic smudge' of intense noise coupled with visceral performance rituals. Named 1.7 and 5.2, these two rabbits deal with ideas of serialisation, subjectivity, shamanism, and quantum ontology, with a focus on creating a conflict and resolution within individual audience members regarding everything they believe to be true. Individual appearences are always different in form, but this simple thread of destroying time and space is present in all of their performances. Actions to date have included the smashing of clocks, the folding of paper, the defacing of maps, etc. Their sound has been compared to the likes of Drums Not Dead-era Liars, Lightning Bolt, Boredoms etc. Active primarily in London, UK, they released Spit or Swallow? on Colour Ride in late 2008 and have played with Talibam!, Clunes, Horse Vomit, BBBlood, Team Brick, Cementimental, Kong, Selfish Cunt and others.
