Jo Harman biography

Jo Harman (born 21 September 1987 in Luton, England) is a British singer and songwriter. Harman’s evocative voice, and compelling stagecraft, has seen her dubbed one of the most exciting performers of her generation. From initial attention-grabbing performances at The Great Escape (music industry) Festival and headlining prestigious London clubs like the acclaimed 606 and award winning Hideaway (where she, and they, cut their first ever live album), Jo and her top class band are now making waves on the festival circuit; Meadowlands, Chagstock, and North Devon Festival included. Prestigious support slots for the likes of Marlena Shaw, Terry Callier and Average White Band, have only added to her reputation as a soulful, blues-fuelled singer of exceptional potential.

Yes, it is in London, as well as Kensington’s Victorian charm, the ever-singing Picadilly and Carnaby, Sherlock Holmes’s apartment and the oldest subway in the world.
