Beth McCarthy biography

Beth McCarthy is a singer-songwriter from York who has been gigging with her guitar since 2010, best known as a contestant on Series 3 of 'The Voice' in the UK and for her platform on TikTok and social media. In the words of Meadows Music Management, Beth's music "tells the stories of a twenty-something trying to understand love, friendship, and the feelings that come with figuring out who you are". Beth's ability to tell a story through her songs, combined with her cheeky on-stage presence is something that engages the audience on a more personal level and makes her performances feel more like an experience than a show. Further EPs and singles released since then include 'Streets of London', 'Pretty Lies', the 'Self Portrait' EP in 2019, the 'No Hard Feelings' EP in 2022 and 'IDK How To Talk To Girls' EP in 2024.

    Manchester has become one of the largest cities in Britain over the past hundred years. Although Manchester is a city with a very rich history, the main focus of its development has always been industry. The center is almost entirely furnished with warehouses and factory buildings, entangled with a network of canals and old railway bridges. It is quite natural that no one gave such kindness to the reduction of production: in the former shops now open fashionable bars, in factory warehouses - designer shops, and under the old bridges "settled" nightclubs. It was for the active nightlife of the city and got its middle name - Madchester.
