Melingo biography

Tango! Tango canciòn! Maldito tango! MELINGO is an Argentinean phenomenon: a bohémien from Buenos Aires, a tango & milonga maestro who of course comes across as enthralling. Those who like their music subtle and playful, and can also appreciate a Paolo Conte, will be sure to fall for this pure-bred performer. Following a varied past (also with rock and punk acts), in 2004 the surprising CD 'Santa Milonga' suddenly appeared - and in spring 2008 the new 'Maldito Tango' (on the Manaña label of Gotan Project, via Naïve) arrives, with bandeon, guitar, double bass, a wind instrument, a singing saw, a violin... and much fun!

  • What's interesting in London?

For those who have never been to London, the capital of Britain is associated with fog, Big Ben, and of course guards in bear caps. Yes, it is in London, as well as Kensington’s Victorian charm, the ever-singing Picadilly and Carnaby, Sherlock Holmes’s apartment and the oldest subway in the world.
