Cub Sport biography

Cub Sport (formerly Cub Scouts; and before that Tim Nelson and the Cub Scouts) are an Australian indie-pop band from Brisbane, Queensland. Formed by singer-songwriter Tim Nelson in 2010. They released a self-titled EP that same year. Following a line-up change, the band dropped the "Tim Nelson and the" at the front of their name in 2011. Under the new name, they released two singles - "Evie" in 2011 and "Do You Hear" in 2012, before releasing their second EP, Told You So, in October 2012. Another new single, "Pool!," was released in March 2013. The band officially changed their name to Cub Sport in August 2013 before releasing new single "Paradise." In 2016, the band released their debut album, entitled This Is Our Vice. Two singles have been released from the album - "I Can't Save You" and "Come On Mess Me Up."

    Manchester has become one of the largest cities in Britain over the past hundred years. Although Manchester is a city with a very rich history, the main focus of its development has always been industry. The center is almost entirely furnished with warehouses and factory buildings, entangled with a network of canals and old railway bridges. It is quite natural that no one gave such kindness to the reduction of production: in the former shops now open fashionable bars, in factory warehouses - designer shops, and under the old bridges "settled" nightclubs. It was for the active nightlife of the city and got its middle name - Madchester.
