Patrick Wolf biography

Patrick Wolf (born Patrick Denis Apps on 30 June, 1983) is a singer-songwriter from London, United Kingdom. Wolf mixes electronics and samples with a wide range of instruments including viola, keyboards, ukulele, and percussion, all of which he plays himself to form a fusion of jazz, folk and electronic music. In November 2022, Wolf released his first new single in a decade, "Enter the Day," which was featured on his EP "The Night Safari," released in April 2023. This coincided with the 20th anniversary of his debut EP.[22] In December 2023, Wolf released his seventh album, The Circling Sky, a collection of B-sides and rarities.[23][24] In February 2025, he announced a new album, Crying the Neck to be released on 25 April, which was later postponed to 13 June. The announcement was accompanied by the first single from the album, "Dies Irae".[25]
