Kim Churchill biography

Kim Churchill (born in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia on 26 September 1990) is an Australian folk, rock, and blues singer, songwriter, and musician. He has featured in Australia’s music scene – Woodford Folk Festival, Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival, winning National Youth Folk Artist of the year 2009, touring and performing alongside many of Australia’s biggest names, and sharing the bill with acts such as Xavier Rudd, Ben Harper and John Butler. His knockout performance on Channel 9’s Rugby League Footy Show 2009 Grand Final special saw Churchill perform his song “It’s This System” to well over a million viewers.

    Manchester has become one of the largest cities in Britain over the past hundred years. Although Manchester is a city with a very rich history, the main focus of its development has always been industry. The center is almost entirely furnished with warehouses and factory buildings, entangled with a network of canals and old railway bridges. It is quite natural that no one gave such kindness to the reduction of production: in the former shops now open fashionable bars, in factory warehouses - designer shops, and under the old bridges "settled" nightclubs. It was for the active nightlife of the city and got its middle name - Madchester.
