Jembaa Groove biography

Jembaa Groove est un groupe multiculturel fondé fin 2020 par le bassiste et compositeur Yannick Nolting, et le chanteur-percussionniste Eric Owusu. Après avoir cherché les bons compagnons pour le voyage à venir et rencontré quelques-uns des meilleurs musiciens de Berlin, ils ont finalement formé Jembaa Groove, un groupe de 7 musiciens qui combine des sons frais de la scène musicale underground de Berlin avec des sons traditionnels d'Afrique de l’Ouest, du Ghana et du Mali. Leur vision esthétique s'inspire de la musique soul des années 60 et 70 et évite les arrangements commerciaux trop produits.
