Kid Kapichi biography

Kid Kapichi is an English punk rock band formed in Hastings in 2013. The band now consists of vocalist and guitarist Jack Wilson and bassist Eddie Lewis. Their style is influenced by QOTSA, The Libertines, Nirvana and The Arctic Monkeys. In 2013, Jack Wilson and Ben Beetham began the band together with their school friends Eddie Lewis (bass) and George McDonalds (drums) . In the following years, the band released several singles and EPs before touring Europe in 2019, first at the Reading and Leeds Festivals and then as support for Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes. In 2021, the band self-released their debut album. Dave Parsons of Sham 69 said: "Kid Kapichi are going to be huge! I can honestly say they're the best band I've seen in 20 years. If I was a kid watching them - this is the band that would make me want to pick up a guitar and play."

  • What's interesting in Manchester?

Manchester has become one of the largest cities in Britain over the past hundred years. Although Manchester is a city with a very rich history, the main focus of its development has always been industry. The center is almost entirely furnished with warehouses and factory buildings, entangled with a network of canals and old railway bridges. It is quite natural that no one gave such kindness to the reduction of production: in the former shops now open fashionable bars, in factory warehouses - designer shops, and under the old bridges "settled" nightclubs. It was for the active nightlife of the city and got its middle name - Madchester.
