boygenius biography

Grammy-winning American singer-songwriters Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus record together as boygenius. Their first EP, the eponymous boygenius, was released in November 2018. On July 3, 2020, a demo EP titled boygenius (demos) was released on Bandcamp and was available for 24 hours only. The EP consisted of the June 5, 2018 demos of "Bite The Hand", "Me & My Dog", and "Stay Down". On January 18, 2023, the trio announced their debut album the record and released three singles: "$20", "Emily I'm Sorry", and "True Blue", followed by the single "Not Strong Enough" on March 1. the record was released on March 31. the record was followed by their third EP, the rest, released on October 13, 2023.
