Hannah Bahng (Hangul: 방해나) is a South Korean-Australian solo artist under Bahng Entertainment. Born on February 9, 2004, she made her debut on July 14, 2023 with the single "Perfect Blues". Born and raised in Sydney, Australia to Korean parents, Hannah Bahng discovered her love for music and performance at an early age at the enthusiastic influence of her mum. She wrote much of her forthcoming debut project on her family's piano, the same ivory keys she spent hours practicing her scales on as a kid. A dancer, she first learned to tell stories through movement before getting serious about songwriting, filling up the pages of her notebooks with uninhibited thoughts, lyrical musings, doodles, and visual storyboards. An independent artist, she writes and composes everything herself, and she's passionately involved in every aspect of its creation, production, and marketing. Hannah launched her YouTube channel in the fall of 2021 as a creative space for her to have fun and express herself through unabashedly candid vlogs and vocal covers, captivating millions across her social platforms with her voice and charisma. She pours that bold confidence and autonomy into her music, cultivating an unguarded artistic vision that highlights her writing's poignant honesty and genuine reflections on coming-of-age anxieties. hannah bahng is unapologetically herself, and she's ready to push pop's boundaries with a sound - and an autonomous creative vision — that is uniquely her own.
