Kittie is a Canadian metal band formed in London, Ontario in 1996. They have released six studio albums, one video album, four extended plays, thirteen singles, and thirteen music videos. The name "Kittie" was chosen as it "seemed contradictory". Throughout it´s history the band has changed drastically in both sound and members for each album. Throughout 2024, Kittie premiered new songs through Sirius XM's Liquid Metal channel on Youtube, finally releasing it´s seventh album, Fire, on June 21.
