Catherine MacLellan is a Canadian folk singer-songwriter, currently based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Before going solo, she was a member of The New Drifts from 2000 until 2003. Her solo albums include Dark Dream Midnight (2004), Church Bell Blues (2006), Water in the Ground (2009), Silhouette (2011). Dark Dream Midnight was nominated for a 2006 ECMA as Folk Album of the Year. Her second album, Church Bell Blues, was released in 2006. Subsequent albums include Water in the Ground (2009), Silhouette (2011).
