1. Dreamcatcher (드림캐쳐) is a South Korean girl group known for integrating horror and fantasy themes with rock and metal elements into K-pop. The group was formed by Happy Face Entertainment in 2014 as a five-member act called MINX (밍스), featuring JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, and Dami. In contrast to Dreamcatcher’s later style, MINX’s music followed a more typical bright, bubblegum pop approach that was moderately successful. In November 2016, the group announced a rebranding under the new name Dreamcatcher, adding two new members, Handong and Gahyeon, and adopting a dark fantasy aesthetic to stand out within the K-pop scene. Dreamcatcher officially debuted with this lineup on January 13, 2017, with 악몽, which introduced their unique blend of K-pop and rock elements. 7. Dreamcatcher is jazz-fusion band from Denmark lead by Peter Hansen and Jørgen Emborg. So far, the group has released two self-titled albums: "Dreamcatcher" (1997) and "Dreamcatcher 2" (2006).
