Ethel Cain is a musical project of American singer-songwriter, record producer, and model Hayden Silas Anhedönia (born March 24, 1998). This project is noted for lyrics focused on nostalgic and Southern Gothic themes, while the music has been associated with the ambient, indie rock, and contemporary folk genres. Anhedönia's second album and final album for this project, titled Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You, was released in August 8 2025. It serves as a prequel to Preacher's Daughter and will be accompanied by the Willoughby Tucker Forever Tour. On May 28, 2025, Anhedönia announced the album's lead single, "Nettles", which was released on June 4, 2025.
