Singer and composer, Luedji Luna was born in Salvador, BA and studied music at the Escola Baiana de Canto Popular. At the age of 34, she has released two albums, several nominations and awards and has become a reference in contemporary Brazilian popular music. An active voice in racial and feminist militancy, Luedji delves into her ancestry and brings in her art strong messages of struggle, beliefs, depth and love. In 2017 she released her first album “Um Corpo no Mundo”, which enshrined her in the national scene and earned her the first highlights in awards, festivals and media. In 2021, in addition to giving birth to her first child, she also gave birth to the album “Bom Mesmo É Estar Debaixo d’Agua", which, among so many nominations and tops of global lists, led her to be nominated for “Best MPB Album” at the Grammy Latino 2021. In November 2022, she released the Deluxe version of “Bom Mesmo É Estar Debaixo d’Agua” - as a B-side of the previous version, including 10 new songs. The singer also has participation in globally recognized musical projects, such as Colors and Tiny Desk with Afropunk.
