Ronnie Spector (born Veronica Yvette Bennett in New York City on 10 August 1943; died 12 January 2022) was the lead singer of the 1960's girl group The Ronettes, who most famously sang Be My Baby. She was the ex-wife of producer Phil Spector. In 2016, she released, through 429 Records, English Heart, her first album of new material in a decade.
