Zion Train are British dub reggae pioneers and known for the groundbreaking Follow Like Wolves single 1992, which fused Dub and Acid House styles. It is a band where mixing is an instrument just like drums or base, even live. They were one of the first bands to the practice advanced on-stage dub mixing (not only echoes). They started as a sound system in Oxford 1988 by Neil Perch, and Ben Hamilton, Colin Cod and Dave Tench joined 1990 after a relocation to London. The line-up was expanded with the vocalist Molara 1992. Their first studio album A Passage to Indica was released 1993 and their latest, Land Of The Blind 2015. There was a bitter feud within the band beginning around 2001, which led to Neil Perch continuing the band with an almost new line-up - - - Last year saw the reissue of the bands seminal and long unavailable first and second albums; 'A Passage To Indica' and 'Natural Wonders Of The World In Dub' remastered for 2005. 2006 will see the re-release of the third album 'Siren', which was thought by many to herald the birth of the dub-dance vibe that swept the globe in the 1990s.
