BLACKPINK (Hangul: 블랙핑크; Katakana :ブラックピンク; stylized as BLΛƆKPIИK) are a four-member girl group formed by YG Entertainment, consisting of JISOO (지수), JENNIE (제니), ROSÉ (로제) and LISA (리사). On July 23, 2024, it was announced that BLACKPINK will be having a comeback in 2025 and will be going on a world tour. On February 6, 2025, BLACKPINK teased their upcoming world tour. They unveiled the dates and locations for the tour on February 20. On May 23, it was announced through BLACKPINK's social media platforms that their world tour would be named DEADLINE. On May 26, YG revealed that BLACKPINK would soon be releasing a new song called "JUMP". On June 6, BLACKPINK began filming their new music video in Korea, directed by a globally renowned director. Later on June 19, it was reported that the group will be having a comeback in early July. YG Entertainment stated that the exact schedule will be unveiled at a later date. On June 23, YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK will unveil their new song at the first DEADLINE WORLD TOUR concerts in Goyang on July 5 and 6.
