The Flower Kings biography

The Flower Kings are a Swedish progressive rock band formed in 1994 by guitarist and singer-songwriter Roine Stolt. The group originated as Stolt's touring band to support his third solo album "The Flower King" and continued performing afterward. Over their career, they have released sixteen studio albums, totaling more than twenty hours of music. Their style is influenced by early symphonic progressive rock bands such as Yes, featuring dynamic changes, polyrhythms, prominent bass lines, vocal harmonies, abstract lyrics, and extended song structures.
