Y&T biography

Y&T (originally known as Yesterday & Today) is an American hard rock/heavy metal formed in 1974 in Oakland. They hail from the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. The band released two studio albums on London Records as Yesterday & Today in the 70s before shortening their name to Y&T and releasing several albums on A&M Records, beginning their new life in 1981. Y&T was originally notably co-managed by Herbie Herbert (who has also managed rock groups Journey and Mr. Big) and Louis "Lou" Bramy. They've also released albums on other notable labels such as Avex Records. Altogether, they've sold over 4 million albums worldwide to date. Main Website: http://www.yandtrocks.com/

    Manchester has become one of the largest cities in Britain over the past hundred years. Although Manchester is a city with a very rich history, the main focus of its development has always been industry. The center is almost entirely furnished with warehouses and factory buildings, entangled with a network of canals and old railway bridges. It is quite natural that no one gave such kindness to the reduction of production: in the former shops now open fashionable bars, in factory warehouses - designer shops, and under the old bridges "settled" nightclubs. It was for the active nightlife of the city and got its middle name - Madchester.
