Lucy Wainwright Roche biography

Lucy Wainwright Roche (born 1981) is a singer-songwriter and performer known for her clear, powerful voice and her refreshingly straightforward stage presence. Lucy hails from what could be called a musical dynasty. Her parents are musicians Suzzy Roche and Loudon Wainwright III, and her maternal aunts are Maggie Roche and Terre Roche, who with Suzzy Roche formed the group The Roches. Her paternal half-siblings are Martha Wainwright and Rufus Wainwright. Her aunt Sloan Wainwright and her uncle David Roche are also musicians. Lucy has sung with all of the afore-mentioned. Lucy was a teacher in NYC for several years but has now gone into music full-time and in 2007 went on tour with her father, her brother Rufus and many other musical acts. Lucy has released an EP entitled '8 Songs'.

Yes, it is in London, as well as Kensington’s Victorian charm, the ever-singing Picadilly and Carnaby, Sherlock Holmes’s apartment and the oldest subway in the world.
