Sven Wunder biography

Sven Wunder takes the listener somewhere around the easternmost part of the Mediterranean Sea, around the Levantine Sea, where he paints a colorful portrait and illustrates the region’s flora through sound. The music stands between Anatolian rock and European jazz-funk with ponderous drum patterns, groovy organs, far-out synthesizers, enchanting Saz, and impetuous bass lines that appeal to both psych and prog listeners, folk or jazz aficionados, as well the gourmet hip-hop connoisseurs. Sven Wunder has gained worldwide recognition with his debut album Eastern Flowers (2019), followed by Wabi Sabi (2020), Natura Morta (2021), and Late Again (2023).
