DURRY biography

At the start of the COVID, Austin & his wife, Ashley, moved back into his parents’ house, with his sister, Taryn. With nothing but time, he got back to songwriting, regularly asking Taryn for input. “Durry formed really naturally in the early pandemic days and then we had a song pop off in 2021 and all of the sudden we’re a legit band and trying to do it,” he explains. For that reason Durry hasn't released new music in a year, but that’s all about to change with the release of their sophomore album This Movie Sucks on now. From the fuzzed-out wake-up call of opener “Bully” to the jangly pop of “More Dumb” & the intricately arranged ballad “IDK I Just Work Here,” the new album continually showcases Durry’s musical versatility. “Everyone who has listened to the album seems to have a different favorite song and I think that’s really unique” says Taryn. “We do touch on a lot of different genres and styles but somehow we’ve been able to still make it cohesive and I think that’s a big win.”

  • What's interesting in London?

For those who have never been to London, the capital of Britain is associated with fog, Big Ben, and of course guards in bear caps. Yes, it is in London, as well as Kensington’s Victorian charm, the ever-singing Picadilly and Carnaby, Sherlock Holmes’s apartment and the oldest subway in the world.
