Kehlani biography

Kehlani Ashley Parrish (born April 24, 1995), known professionally as Kehlani, is an American singer and songwriter. Kehlani is originally from Oakland, California where they achieved initial fame as a member of the teen pop group, Poplyfe, which was a finalist on America's Got Talent. Kehlani released their first mixtape Cloud 19, in 2014; followed by their sophomore mixtape You Should Be Here the next year. Their debut album SweetSexySavage was released in January 2017 to mainly positive reception, being supported by the singles “CRZY” and the Suicide Squad soundtrack single “Gangsta”. Kehlani released their third commercial and fourth mixtape, "While We Wait 2" on the 28th of August, 2024. The mixtape serves as a sequel to Kehlani's 2019 mixtape While We Wait, and is their second project of 2024, following the release of their fourth album Crash, just two months prior. The mixtape features guest appearances from Lucky Daye, Lil' Mo, Vince Staples, Destin Conrad, Dixson, Flo and Ludmilla.

    Manchester has become one of the largest cities in Britain over the past hundred years. Although Manchester is a city with a very rich history, the main focus of its development has always been industry. The center is almost entirely furnished with warehouses and factory buildings, entangled with a network of canals and old railway bridges. It is quite natural that no one gave such kindness to the reduction of production: in the former shops now open fashionable bars, in factory warehouses - designer shops, and under the old bridges "settled" nightclubs. It was for the active nightlife of the city and got its middle name - Madchester.
