Américo biography

Américo is a chilean tropical singer, with an innate talent and the influence of his father, bolerista nortino Melvin “Corazón” Américo. The year 2002, he decides to emigrate from the Group Alegría and his romantic disc records solist, “Por Una Mujer “, production that allows him, the year 2003, to tackle flight to Europe, where he is received specially by the Latin community. For this motive, he is invited, in the second opportunity, to crossing countries as Sweden, Norway, Germany and Spain, where he leaves his musical fingerprint. The year 2005, he decides to make concrete a personal project, which happens it is necessary to call Américo y la Nueva Alegría. With this band composed by young musicians, he moves again to the old continent, where they share and are employed with artists and musicians of wide path at the European circuit, Chile.
