J Hus (born Momodou Jallow on May 27 1995, in Stratford, London, United Kingdom) is a British rapper and singer who has been credited with pioneering the genre of afroswing. After a 3 year lay off, in June 2023, J Hus released the single "Who Told You" with Drake, which became his highest charting single, reaching number two on the UK Singles Chart. It was the lead single to his third album Beautiful and Brutal Yard, which released in July. The album became his second number-one on the UK Albums Chart.

Although Manchester is a city with a very rich history, the main focus of its development has always been industry. The center is almost entirely furnished with warehouses and factory buildings, entangled with a network of canals and old railway bridges. It was for the active nightlife of the city and got its middle name - Madchester.
