Perfume biography

There are multiple artists named Perfume: 3) Perfume is an American band. Originally formed in 1999 in Santa Cruz, California. The band's other home was Portland, Oregon from 2001-2003. Influenced by many groups of the last 50 years, the band's sound was an amalgam of sorts, with heavy drumming, lots of distortion, and infectious melodies that could be heard through the wall of sound produced by this power-trio. They released one album titled "Today's Favorite Game" in 2003. The album features "Natural Bridges," a song about losing a loved one, "Letter in my Living Room," about a friend's drug addiction, and the acoustic ballad "Pretend it's my Soul," which was recorded in Portland's Jackpot! Studios. Today's Favorite Game CD music contains a single disc with 12 songs.
