J.I.D biography

J.I.D is the name of more than one artist: 1) rapper Destin Route 2) rock band The youngest of seven children, Route grew up listening to Sly & The Family Stone and Earth, Wind & Fire before moving onto the 1990s New York Hip-Hop scene and rappers like Jay-Z, Nas and Mobb Deep. In high school, he spent most of his teen years playing football as a defensive back. J.I.D also ran track.
