Teyana Taylor biography

Teyana M.J. Taylor (born December 10, 1990) is an American socialite, singer, rapper, choreographer, dancer and actress from Harlem, New York. She was signed to Star Trak Entertainment/Interscope Records and released her debut single, "Google Me" in 2007. In 2011, she appeared in Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family opposite rapper/actor Bow Wow. Now a free agent, Teyana has just released a mixtape: "The Misunderstanding of Teyana Taylor," that is available as a free download on her website: www.gottaloveteyana.tumblr.com. It features her newest single, "DUI," featuring Fabolous and Jadakiss. She is a member of a band called U.G.L.Y. along with band mates Mijo, Braxton and Ethan. A snippet of U.G.L.Y.'s single "Wasted" was released early 2010. No further releases from the band have since been mentioned. Taylor has also ventured into acting. She has appeared in the sequel of the 2007 hit film Stomp the Yard, titled Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming, which was released August 2010. She has also made an appearance on the debut episode of House of Glam on Oxygen.
